Hi! Thanks for your interest in important and difficult conversations.

Every week A Seat at the Table hosts totally free, totally open meet ups for these conversations. Once a month we host a totally free dinner for an intentional, small group (8-10 people).

Our next dinner is:
April 27, 5:30 - 8:00pm

We want to ensure two things for the dinner conversations

1. We over represent underrepresented populations. There are enough conversations already happening with tokenism at the table.

2. Difference is invited to dinner. We have enough echo chambers in our life already.

So, if this is the kind of conversation you want to have, you're available on April 27th, and the kind of table you are interested being at, please fill in your information here.

If you attend a dinner you are agreeing to come with an open mind and willingness to participate fully. A Seat at the Table dinners are brave spaces. They are meant to be challenging, and this might means owning up to a hard truth or speaking your truth when its scary. This will require bravery.

Also, you are committing to self-publish something within a week, reflecting on your experience. Your reflection might include what you learned about yourself, what changed, etc.  This can be a piece of writing, an audio recording, a video, or something else. It just needs to be shareable with the world online, which we will do.

We don't require any of the following demographic information. It is very helpful to us achieving our goals though, and we will sort our list into those who provided information and those who didn't to start our curation process for the dinners.

Your Age

Sex/Gender Identity

There's only one box, and you get to fill it in however you want

Sexual Orientation

Up to you if and what you share

Race/Ethnicity

Again, we aren't going to box you in, this is how you'd like to describe yourself.

Household Income

We're putting down numbers because "lower, middle, and upper class" can be divisive and mis-identified.

Religious/Spiritual Identity

We acknowledge that our identities are complex and one box might not reflect how you identify your self. Please feel free to use "other" to self-describe yourself.

Political Identity

We acknowledge that our identities are complex and one box might not reflect how you identify your self. Please feel free to use "other" to self-describe yourself.

Anything else you'd like to share? Is there more than one conversation you're interested in? If so, which?

Thank you for requesting a seat! We only have 8-10 seats per dinner, and will be intentional to overrepresent, underrepresented communities at the table. We will let you know whether you have a seat at a dinner as soon as possible.

Please join us at a weekly meet up in the meantime! They are free and the conversations will be totally unique to who shows up. All meet ups are 5:30 - 6:30pm
